Consulate reminds Chinese citizens in Los Angeles to strengthen safety precautions amid violent clashes

(ECNS) -- The Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles issued a safety advisory on Monday to Chinese citizens in Los Angeles, urging them to enhance their awareness and take precautionary measures amid ongoing law enforcement operations across the city.

According to an announcement published on the Consulate's official WeChat account, citizens are advised to stay updated on official notices and media reports, enhance personal safety awareness, avoid gatherings, crowded areas, or locations with poor security conditions, and refrain from going out alone or at night.

In case of emergencies, please call 911 immediately and request Chinese-language assistance if needed, the Consulate said.
