The heat-absorbing tower of the solar thermal energy storage power station completed construction on Sunday. The installed capacity of this project is designedas 1 million kilowatts, consisting of a 900,000-kilowatt photovoltaic power station and a 100,000-kilowatt solar thermal power station.
The 100,000-kilowatt-hour solar thermal power station is designed to generate an average grid-connected electricity of 130.78 million kilowatt-hoursannually. It can save approximately 39,400 metric tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 108,300 metric tons each year.
