Qixia Mountain in Nanjing a destination to enjoy red maples

(ECNS) -- Located in Nanjing, east China's Jiangsu Province, Qixia Mountain is swarmed with tourists enjoying red maples in November.

There are various types of maple trees on the mountain, especially Liquidambar formosana, including red maple, triangular maple, feather maple, zelkova, pistacia, etc.

Qixia Mountain, hailed as "The first elegant mountain of Nanjing" by Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty (1636–1912), is one of the four destinations in China to enjoy red maples in autumn.
