Colored pottery camel unearthed from Tang Dynasty tomb(3/4)

Over 70 funerary objects, including figurines of Hu people (a general term for people of non-Han origin)and potteries of camel and horse, are unearthed from a couple’s tomb of Tang Dynasty (618-907) in Huayin, Central China’s Shaanxi province, Dec 4, 2014. Song Su, the owner of this tomb, used to be a county magistrate of Dunhuang during the reign of Emperor Gaozong (649 to 683) of Tang Dynasty, according to Liu Daiyun, an associate researcher from Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology.
