Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said on June 10, 2014 that China will file an application with the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to list documents related to the Nanjing Massacre and "comfort women" in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register.
