Taiwan's mainland affairs chief concludes historic visit (6/7)

The meeting carried on the legacy of another historic meeting in the same place in 1998. Sixteen years ago, on Oct 14, 1998, Wang Daohan, then president of the mainland-based Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS), and Koo Chen-fu, chairman of Taiwan's Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) met at the hotel.
