6. Hospital ship "Peace Ark" heads for Philippines for disaster relief

From November 21 to December 15, the hospital ship "Peace Ark" carried out a humanitarian mission in the Philippines It provided medical aid to victims of the disaster. This is the first time that China had dispatched its ship to overseas disaster-hit areas for humanitarian medical aid service, and the first systematic test for the "Peace Ark" since it started went into services five years ago.
