10 . PLA participates in exercise of ASEAN Defense Ministers' Meeting Plus (ADMM-Plus) exercise

A joint exercise under the mechanism of the ASEAN Defense Ministers' Meeting Plus (ADMM-Plus) on humanitarian aids and disaster relief and military medical science was held from June 17 to 20, 2013, in Bandar Seri Begawan, capital of Brunei. The PLA sent 110 officers and men including command and staff personnel, engineer and medical service detachments, and the hospital ship the "Peace Ark" for the exercise. This is the first joint exercise under the mechanism of the ADMM-Plus. (Source: people.com.cn)
