Insights | Retired Thai air force general: J-10CE proven in real combat, attracting Western nations

The 3rd China-ASEAN Defense Think Tank Exchange opened on Thursday in southwest China's Guiyang City, gathering over 160 participants, including defense policy officials, experts, and think tank representatives from China, the ASEAN countries, and Timor-Leste.

Thai former Commanding General ACM. Poomjai Leksuntarakorn told China News Network that the outstanding performance of China’s J-10CE fighter jet in recent conflict between Pakistan and India demonstrates its excellent capabilities as an advanced aircraft.

Leksuntarakorn praised the techniques of Chinese fighter jets, noting that it is beyond expectation, which has attracted the interest of some Western countries.

Looking ahead, he hopes Thailand and China will deepen cooperation in the defense industry to jointly enhance their defense capabilities. (Gong Weiwei)
