Portraits for you

"Portraits for You" is a documentary about a little girl and her relation with the culture of her nationality, the Xibe nationality. The Xibe people live in Qapqal Autonomous County, Xinjiang. They have their own language, but it is vanishing day by day.

This documentary focuses is the life of this little girl: her school, her home, her friends and her family. In this context, the movie pays attention to the presence of the xibe language and xibe`sculture in her routine.

The girl really likes the culture of her nationality. She likes to dance Xibe dance, sing Xibe song and learn Xibe language. So, for the movie, she represents the survival of the Xibe language.
