The Fuxing Intelligent Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) CR400BF-Z has been under inspection at a maintenance station of Xi'an bullet train section in northwest China's Shaanxi Province. This marks the first time that this type of EMU has been introduced to northwest China.
With a maximum operating speed of 350 km/h, the train will start service during the 2024 Spring Festival travel rush. This type of EMU was developed by China with completely independent intellectual property rights.
