Marking the first manned space mission after China's space station entered its application and development phase, the Shenzhou-16 spacecraft carrying three astronauts was launched onboard a Long March-2F carrier rocket at 9:31 a.m. on Tuesday from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. 　

Shenzhou spacecraft is divided into four parts, that is, return module, orbital module, propulsion module and additional section. 　

After concluding a more challenging autonomous rendezvous and docking maneuver, the crew will enter the core module and conduct in-orbit rotation with Shenzhou-15 crew.
