A 1,166-meter-long passenger cableway across the Yangtze River, in southwest China's Chongqing municipality, reopened on Monday after a nine-month upgrade. Currently, the new model features a higher level of safety.
The trip along the cableway is a common way for residents to get around in the mountainous city. The cableway has become a well-known tourist site in the city, offering a spectacular overview of the Yangtze River.
