The world's first hydrogen-powered city train rolled off the production line in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province on Wednesday. The train has a built-in "hydrogen power" system, with a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour and a range of 600 kilometers per hydrogen refueling.
The front end of the train adopts an all-inclusive design. The dark blue body of the train matches the hydrogen symbol with "H2" as the core, highlighting its green and low-carbon characteristics.
The train uses a combination of hydrogen fuel cells and supercapacitors for energy supply. The energy is generated by the electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen in the hydrogen fuel cells. The reaction product is only water without any nitrogen and sulfur by-products.
It is understood that the hydrogen-powered city train also integrates many intelligent cutting-edge technologies. In terms of intelligent control, the vehicle adopts the highest level of automatic driving technology, endowing the vehicle with intelligent driving functions such as automatic wake-up, automatic start and stop, and automatic return to the warehouse.
