190-meter-long swivel bridge rotates into place

A 190-meter-long swivel bridge rotated 106.3 degrees into place for 138 minutes in Shanghai on Tuesday.

Constructed by China Railway 24th Bureau Group Corp Ltd, the bridge is part of the Caobao Road expressway in Shanghai. A major milestone of the project was reported as builders said on Tuesday that they have finished rotating the asymmetric bridge above four key rails and managed to settle it on schedule.
