Expanded wetland improves local ecological environment in Qinghai

(ECNS) -- The once polluted reed marshes along the south bank of Yellow River in Guide County, Qinghai Province, had suffered serious degradation.

To restore the local environment, the county initiated some technologies to divert waste water from the sewage treatment plant and expanded 13 ha wetlands .

Both water quality and the ecological environment have been gradually improved.
