(ECNS) -- Several high-powered autonomous tractors have begun sowing cotton at the planting base of Yaha Town, Kuqa City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.
The total planting area of cotton in Kuqa is 1.55 million mu (about 103,333 hectares), of which 1.25 million mu are harvested by agricultural machinery.
All the sowing work is expected to complete before May 1.
