(ECNS) -- China's first artificial intelligence (AI) security check device has been put into use at Liuzhou Railway Station in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The AI algorithm can identify suspected dangerous items in passengers' luggage, increasing the check-in efficiency by 21%.
Different from ordinary security scanners, the AI scanners compare suspicious goods to contraband and return a readable similarity marks, offering references to check-in staff who used to rely on their naked eyes and experiences.
