(ECNS) -- An injured Qinling panda was sent to Shaanxi Wild Animal Rescue and Breeding Research Center for further treatment on Tuesday.
The female panda was found by a ranger on Dec. 7, 2020 in Foping National Nature Reserve.
She had a wound on her shoulder blade that had festered and become infected and was in poor physical and mental condition.
Experts administered emergency on-site treatment and she has since improved.
