(ECNS) -- A couple of black-necked swans have hatched a brood of cygnets at Guangzhou Zoo in Guangdong Province.
The black swan family swam in the water to enjoy the winter sunlight despite cold weather. Swan parents often carry chicks on their backs for protection.
The black-necked swan is characterized by the beautiful red knob near the base of the bill.
