(ECNS) -- A batch of emergency relief materials allocated by the central government has arrived in Hukou County.
The county's emergency management department immediately distributed these materials to local people.
Since July 7, Hukou has been hit by heavy rains and threatened by the soared water levels of the Yangtze River and Poyang Lake.
As of July 14, the water level at the Hukou station of the Yangtze River reached 22.27 meters, approaching the historical highest level of 22.59 meters.
