（ECNS）-- The Bazhou to Tongjiang section of Bazhong-Wanyuan Highway in Sichuan Province officially opened to traffic on Tuesday.
It is about 122 km long, with four lanes in both directions and a designed speed of 80kph.
The journey from Bazhong to Tongjiang has been shortened to 40 minutes from 1.5 hours.
