Giant clay sculpture depicts historical trade route

(ECNS) -- A massive clay-sculpture depicting a trade caravan traveling along an historical route has gone on display in Gansu Province.

At 6.2 meters long and 1.2 meters wide, the vivid clay creation features a selection of footmen and 53 mules.

"Spring Comes to Bulenggou Village" illustrates the trials and prosperity of trade as experienced from Gansu Province to Yunnan Province.
