(ECNS) -- Chinese troops who have participated in peacekeeping missions will take part in the military parade in Tian'anmen Square, downtown Beijing, on Sept. 3, the State Council Information Office announced on Tuesday at a press conference.
China will mark the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War on Sept. 3.
This arrangement not only highlights the solemn commemoration of the victory, but also demonstrates China's commitment as a major country to fulfilling international obligations and safeguarding world peace. The Chinese military has always been a steadfast force in upholding global peace, it said.
