(ECNS) — China announced on Tuesday to hold a military parade in Tian'anmen Square, downtown Beijing, on Sept. 3 to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
The event will invite leaders of relevant countries, former political figures, high-ranking officials, heads of international organizations, foreign diplomats, and military attachés stationed in China, as well as representatives of international organizations in China.
Also invited are international friends — or their descendants — who contributed to China's victory, it was announced.
