(ECNS) -- The Chinese Embassy in Israel has urged Chinese nationals to leave the country via land border crossings as soon as possible amid a deteriorated security situation.
"At present, the Israeli-Iranian conflict continues to escalate, with civilian facilities damaged and civilian casualties increasing, making the security situation even more severe," the embassy warned in a notice released on WeChat Tuesday.
Currently, Israel's airspace remains closed, and the government has extended the nationwide state of emergency until June 30, it noted.
"Israeli authorities have specifically reminded the public that border crossings with Jordan and Egypt remain open," the notice said, suggesting that Chinese citizens should leave the country via the land crossing towards Jordan.
