Macao to grant visa-free entry to nationals of five gulf countries

(ECNS) — The Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) will implement a visa-free entry policy for citizens of five Gulf countries, according to an executive order published in the Macao SAR Gazette on Monday.

Nationals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Sultanate of Oman will be granted visa-free and pre-entry permit-free access to the region.

The directive, signed by Macao SAR Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai, will take effect 30 days after its publication.
