(ECNS) -- Eight people who went missing in the recent mountain torrent and mudslide in the county of Longsheng, Guilin City of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, were confirmed dead on Wednesday.
A mountain torrent and mudslide struck a village in the county of Longsheng, leaving eight people unaccounted and three injured, and damaging 10 houses.
Following search efforts by local emergency teams, firefighters, and police, all missing individuals have been found dead and DNA tests confirmed their identities.
