As two major forces upholding peace and development, a healthy and stable China-EU relationship serves the fundamental and long-term interests of both sides and meets the shared expectations of the international community, Lou said.
The year 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of China-EU diplomatic relations.
Over the past 50 years, facts have repeatedly proven that China and the EU have no fundamental conflicts of interest or geopolitical rivalries but are partners that contribute to each other’s success, he added.
