No new confirmed cases or new deaths of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were reported in central China's Hubei Province Saturday, the provincial health commission said Sunday.
The commission said 11 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospital after recovery in the province Saturday, all of whom were in Wuhan, the once hardest-hit Chinese city.
By the end of Saturday, the province had 572 asymptomatic cases under medical observation, after 19 new such cases were reported on Saturday.
Twelve patients remained in hospital in the province.
Hubei has so far reported 68,128 confirmed COVID-19 cases in total, including 50,333 in Wuhan.
