One of my basic judgments for 2020 is that challenges and hopes are always there and we should take the initiative to embrace the opportunities brought by digital transformation to rebuild new competitive advantages.
Digitization is rapidly shifting from the consumer-end to the vertical end. In the past decade, the internet giants have enjoyed a rapid growth mainly because they have dominated the traffic and market on the consumer terminal. Today, the digitization is moving toward the industrial end and the government end. In this new landscape, we must make a difference and make progress by following the trend.
The infrastructure for 2020 and beyond includes 5G, cloud, data, AI and blockchain, which is different from the infrastructure of the industrial age in the past, including water, electricity, gas, railways, roads and the resources that went with them. We must learn about them and put them into practice.
New Hope Group is building New Hope Digital and Scientific Group to make overall plans for digital agriculture, digital urban and rural areas, digital finance and other business areas. Our digital technology service platforms such as "smart pig raising" and "cloud stocking" are empowering millions of farmers.
In the new year, we should take the initiative to embrace digital transformation by learning about it and putting it into practice to combine the original industries and businesses with new formats and new digital application scenarios.
