Beautiful jellyfish spotted in Lebanon(1/2)

Photo taken on May 27, 2020, at a depth of five metres off the coast Lebanon's northern town of Qalamun shows a Pelagia noctiluca (Medusa luminosa).

The Medusa luminosa is a species of jellyfish commonly known as the Mauve stinger, typically an offshore species widely distributed in all warm and temperate waters including the Mediterranean sea, Red Sea and Atlantic ocean.
