Porcelain in rouge-red glaze was a type of ceramic created in the Kangxi Period, which matured in the Yongzheng Period of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). It was ordinarily used to make small vessels, such as bowls, bottles, and stem cups. The rosy-pink colors of the porcelain look just like blooming cherry blossoms and other flowers in the spring.
