Xie Guangmao, a leading archeologist from the Guangxi Cultural Relics Protection and Archaeological Institute, works at the Yahuai cave site in Longan, South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. After three years of excavation work, archeologists have found tombs and human remains, including a skull, dating back 16,000 years, as well as tens of thousands of stone artifacts. The site was the second area of Palaeolithic tombs to be found in China. (Photo: China News Service/Zhong Xin)
