What may appear to be an iconic botanic garden of polychrome floras from a bird’s-eye view in Xiamen, southeast China’s Fujian Province, is in fact an entangled cluster of abandoned shared bikes. In the startling aerial photos, tens of thousands of discarded shared vehicles in the color of yellow, blue, and red were seen cluttering a square the size of a football field like haunting metal hills. Since pictures revealing the staggering scenario were posted online, many have expressed concerns as to the hazards which resulted from the shared vehicles oversupply. (Photo/VCG)
