Reporters join the celebration of opening the Lanzhou-Chongqing railway line on a train, Sept. 29, 2017. Lanzhou-Chongqing railway, a major railway connecting Lanzhou City in Gansu Province with the southwestern metropolis Chongqing, fully opens to traffic on Friday. The railway, which started construction in 2008, also runs through northwest China's Shaanxi Province and southwest China's Sichuan Province.
