Huang Aizhu lived in Shibao Village in Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County in Hainan Province. In March 1940, at 28, she was caught by Japanese soldiers and suffered for nearly a year before escaping to join her family. Huang died on Feb. 7, 2016, age 104. (Photo taken from a video)
