Starting on July 16, 2017, more than 20 former professors of Shaanxi Normal University will be writing individual acceptance letters with a brush for more than 4,500 freshmen. The whole process will take ten days. The college says handwriting is better at conveying deeply held feelings. Shaanxi Normal University has been using calligraphy to express emotions for the past eleven years. Unlike in the past, this year the school has also specially invited distinguished University alumni, famous calligrapher Zhong Mingshan and 2010 class alumni to participate in writing the acceptance letters for freshmen.(Photo/Weibo account of People's Daily)
