    Australian girl with cerebral palsy climbs Great Wall(4/4)

    On June 6, an 11-year-old Australian girl with cerebral palsy realized her dream of climbing on to the Great Wall with her family in Beijing. (Photo/Xinhua)

    Taylor Walker-Lear was prematurely born. She was unable to stand and walk, and only could crawl using her upper limbs. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was two and half years old. In April 2016, she accomplished her dream of climbing Australian highest peak of Koshichuk, which has an altitude of 2,228 meters, accompanying her family. Since then, has dreamed of climbing the Great Wall. Taylor now plans to focus on her swimming training and hopes to participate in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
