Postman Qimei Dorjee drives his truck on the snow-covered Chola Mountain, 6,618 meters above sea level, through the Kangding-Dege section of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway in Sichuan Province. At an average elevation of 3,500 meters, the stretch of road is rough and significant dangers are posed by landslides, snow and ice. Qimei Dorjee has been working on the road for 28 years, and has survived many dangers.
