    Tourists to Dunhuang increase by 38% over tomb-sweeping holiday(3/5)

    Visitors flock to the Crescent Spring and Singing-Sand Dunes scenic spot in Dunhuang City, Northwest China’s Gansu Province during the Qingming Festival (Tomb Sweeping Day). During the three-day holiday, Dunhuang, a major stop on the ancient Silk Road, received more than 18,700 visitors, an increase of 38.52 percent on the same period last year, and tourism revenue grew by 35.58 percent.
