Teacher Li Congshu rows a boat to help children commute between their homes and a school, right across a reservoir in Dazu District, Southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality. It takes some of the children more than two hours to walk around the reservoir to the school-- a journey that takes approximately half an hour by boat. Li bought a wooden boat for 1,000 yuan ($140) in 2007 and started to help ferry the children back and forth. Li has used three boats over the past ten years. (Photo/CFP)
