The Chinese Academy of Sciences says the world's first experimental quantum communication satellite is running well and official experiments will begin in November following completion of all in-orbit tests. Scientists say quantum communication offers ultra-high security as a quantum photon can neither be separated nor duplicated, making it impossible to tap, intercept or crack information transmitted through it.
