The Shizhai shantytown is being demolished in Zhengzhou City, the capital of Central China’s Henan Province, Aug. 24, 2016. Shizhai, the largest shantytown in Zhengzhou, covers an area of 0.618 square kilometers and is home to a population of 150,000. Many homeowners illegally renovated their buildings to rent.
