Archaeologists check gold objects found in the tomb of "Haihunhou," or Marquis of Haihun, which dates back to the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - 8 AD), in Nanchang, capital of East China's Jiangxi Province. Chinese archaeologists said on November 23, 2015 that the total number of gold coins unearthed is 187, which is much more than their anticipation. Besides the coins, a total of 25 gold hoofs-five big ones, 10 small ones and 10 “Linzhi gold ingots”- were found in the tomb. Among the unearthed gold items, the rarest ones are the “Linzhi gold ingots”, a kind of gold item used as reward from empire to courtiers, according to archeologist.
