A man experiences the traditional Chinese practice of postpartum care, known as zuoyuezi, in Shanghai, Aug 10, 2015. The participants are required to perform tasks such as changing a baby’s diapers and breast feeding every four hours. They are not allowed to watch TV, use a cellphone, or leave the house. Believers in zuoyuezi, which literally means "siting the month," take precautions to protect mothers who have just given birth.
