Shenzhen residents rush for purchasing cars before new rule (9/10)

Shenzhen residents swarm into 4S shops (authorized franchises offer sales, spare parts, services and surveys) to pay deposits before the new auto purchase restriction policy comes into force at 6 pm, Dec 29, 2014. Under the new rule, 100,000 car plates will be distributed to buyers in Shenzhen annually, including 20,000 electric vehicles by means of lottery and 80,000 ordinary vehicles, 50 percent of which by auctions.
