Chengdu introduces Asia's first 'plane crash simulator'(5/5)

Flight attendants join an emergency drill within a “plane crash simulator” introduced by Air China's southwest branch in Chengdu, Sichuan province on October 28, 2014. It is the first time that an Airbus A320 cabin emergency evacuation trainer has been introduced in Asia. The simulation system enables a wider range of training possibilities aimed at evacuation procedures. Featuring a full-scale cabin and cockpit replicas, the trainer offers an integrated environment with optical, acoustic and motion simulation, including door and emergency slide simulated malfunctions.
