China's 1st multifunctional civil air defense shelter under construction (5/5)

Photo taken on October 21, 2014 shows the construction site of a large scale civil air defense shelter in Fuzhou, Fujian province. The shelter will be the first one that for both peacetime and wartime use in China after being constructed. Covering an area of 195,000 square meters, the structure will feature a combination of facilities including underpasses, subway stations, shopping centers, a garage, and a sunken plaza.
