Buddhists attend Thangka worship activity in Xigaze, Tibet (6/7)

Tibetan Buddhist believers leave the Tashilhunpo Monastery after attending a Thangka worship activity in Xigaze, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, July 13, 2014. The Tashilhunpo Monastery, the traditional seat of the Panchen Lama lineage, holds a three-day Thangka worship activity annually between the 14th and 16th days of the fifth Tibetan lunar month. Tens of thousands of Gelug School Buddhist believers will attend the activity, during which they pray for auspices while worshipping three large-scale Thangkas portraying discrete Buddhas.
